Knight Rider
I made a new loader (shows while a lager image loads after you click an image) this morning, inspired the 80s (82-86) series Knight Rider. I always wanted one of these on my car when I was a kid, guess I'll have to settle for a loader.

This was my first attempt at the assignment, however my colleague felt it was a little too racy
This is the final one she chose
On these images I looked to ISO50 for inspiration. I have been a long time fan of Scott Hansen and always seem to find some sort of direction when I'm lost, just by looking at his work. Even the layout of my blog is inspired by his! And as usual these were done at work for active
So this time I my job was to borrow some images from the Lakai site and make something that is consistent with their imagery. Pretty much I added the burst (my current favorite thing), a little teeny tiny gradient to the "Mariano 2" Ferrari style logo, and arranged them all on my own homemade checker flag background. BAM! done. Looks nice, thanks for doing the hard part Lakai! Oh yeah, go to active and buy them fool!
I'm starting to fill like that guy on mad tv (see video below) that's always saying "lookit what I can do!" I guess I started this thing just so I could keep track for myself what kind of progress I'm making as a designer. Any way, about the image above, Emerica gave us the photo I added all of the other stuff. Yay! Go to the active site and buy those shoes now so I can keep my job.
Because they are good friends and I did their album artwork, I decided to update their myspace page again even though it was only a couple of weeks old. I think it looks 10x better. Click the above image and have look for yourself! hmm what creative endeavor must I entertain myself with next? Time to watch t.v. I think.
This is a touching promotional piece I made to push the "Win It While It's Hot" contest for the ladies at active. They wanted a summer time feel, I think the image makes you want to take a deep breath, at least I know I do. Hold on while I stare at it for a minute... Ahh thats nice.
