Totally 80s
For this one, I was asked to take inspiration from the brand Zinka, it was a lot of fun and nice to do something a little different.

We were getting tired of the standard white text on a red background for this type of promotion, so this time I tried to make it look like some stickers and things on a desk. I like the way it turned out.
Not much to say about this one, just like the way it turned out. See it live here
In further preparation for St. Patrick's Day, we made a specialty shop on the active site with only green items in it, This is one of the images I made to promote it (plus I got to use my shamrock again). Make sure you wear green or else!
So over here at active we're celebrating the fact that the company has been around for 20 years, guess who got to make the art? That's right me, I did the one you see for an email and this poster for the shops with interchangeable offers. First time I've ever made a poster like this. Fun times!
On this one I decided to keep things nice and clean. I added a subtle gray gradient to the background, punched up the colors on the pants and threw in some text. Boom Bam! Instant image. Hopefully it helps us sell a lot of these.
Sooooo, this is another flash animation I did with rolling wheels (click the above image to view the animation), I don't think it's as smooth as the hubba one I did a few months back, but its still cool I guess.
So I decided to do something a little different for this image, I'm hoping they don't have me simplify it. We shall see!
Update
As it turns out the image was a little much and perhaps too far removed from consistency. Oh well, below is the final.
Here is a little before and after photoshop work I did at Active today. Our photographer shot the image then I created a background and masked it around the image. boom bam! done!
I was watching Comedy Central last night and took special notice of their holiday imagery, so when I came into work today I was given the opportunity to explore this style for myself. The above is the result. Those guys and ESPN have great designers, I love watching those channels specifically for inspiration.
