Traveler Guitar

I've been working with Traveler Guitar for a while on their old site and suggested they try using a CMS such as wordpress so they could easily edit and add content on their own, this is the outcome of that suggestion. I designed the new site and built the theme using the Theme Hybrid Framework as a starting point. The product tabs are built with jQuery UI, but what I am probably most proud of are the form layouts. For some reason forms have really interested me lately.

You can scan through a couple of pages by clicking the image to the right, but you should probably view the full site at travelerguitar.com.

Active Team Pages

I was given the task of redesigning the team pages on activerideshop.com It is still a work in progress, but they are coming around. I like the larger portraits, videos and photo galleries. I used jQuery UI for the tabs, Embedr for the videos, Flickr for the photos, and my own handy html/css for everything else.

ASAP Inc.

This is a homepage design I did for ASAP Inc. They wanted something related to action sports, but also wanted to bring some life to their site so I added an animated banner in the header using flash. Not sure If this is how the final site will look, but I am happy with it thus far. You can view a live version of it here.

House of Wormwood

This is a site designed for a friend. The brief she gave me was, "I need something quick, and I want it to be very dark, with lots of green, like Slytherin from Harry Potter." This is my result. It is a single page site, for the gallery, I used jQueery to implement the navigation and Thickbox. You can view a live version here.

This is the mock up I made for Nomenclature Bath's new website, We're still in the information gathering phase, but I'm really happy with how it has turned out so far. I plan to incorporate "Magento" with this design to offer a fully functioning shopping cart on the back-end. Should be a great learning experience. I'll update this post once the site is published.

Only For The Night Official Website

This one was tricky. Because the band bought the least expensive hosting they could find, I had to find a way to embed all of the content from the bands other sites; wordpress, flickr, youtube, twitter and imeem to help keep inline with bandwidth constraints. Overall I enjoyed the challenge and learned a lot, especially from the guys over at embedr.com. You can view the live site at onlyforthenight.net
